These Associate's Certificates demonstrate that you have acquired a working knowledge of project management and IT project management. They complement the PMI®'s Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) credential and begin to lay the groundwork for anyone seeking the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification.
Associate's Certificate in Project Management

Requirements:
  • Three of the select courses listed below must be completed within two years.
Restrictions:
  • Students must adhere to the restrictions specified on the specific course pages.
  • Each course may be applied to only one Associate's Certificate. However, all courses applied to the Associate's Certificate in Project Management may also be applied toward specific Master's Certificate requirements.
  • Advanced Project Management Courses, Workshops, PMP® Exam Preparation courses and the CBAP® Exam Preparation course do not apply.

  • Planning and Managing Projects
At least one course must be taken from the following...
  • Core Project Management courses
The remaining courses may be taken from the following...
  • Agile Practitioner courses
  • Business Analysis courses
  • Core Business Skills courses

Upon successfully completing the required three courses, you will receive an Associate's Certificate in Project Management awarded by TwentyEighty Strategy Execution and The George Washington University.
Master's Certificate in Project Management

Requirements:
  • Three of the select core courses along with four additional select courses listed below must be completed in a four-year period.
Restrictions:
  • Students must adhere to the restrictions specified on the specific course pages.
  • Each course may be applied to only one Master's or Professional Certificate.
You must take three courses from the following…
  • Managing Projects
  • Planning and Managing Projects
  • Project Leadership, Management and Communications
  • Project Management Applications
  • Quality for Project Managers
  • Risk Management
  • Scheduling and Cost Control
The remaining four courses may be taken from the following…
  • Agile Practitioner courses
  • Business Analysis courses
  • Business Skills courses (up to two)
  • Contract Management courses
  • PMP® Exam Review Courses
  • Project Management advanced courses
  • Project Management elective courses
Upon successfully completing the required seven courses, you will receive a Master's Certificate in Project Management awarded by TwentyEighty Strategy Execution and The George Washington University.

Restrictions:
  • Students must adhere to the restrictions specified on the specific course pages.
  • Each course may be applied to only one Master's or Professional Certificate.
